Weld Data Recording

Production of orbital welds for the pharmaceutical industry must be performed in accordance FDA regulations which require complete traceability. Traditionally this is achieved using paper print outs from the orbital controller. In addition to this feature the Tigtronic Orbital and Integral controllers are equiped with a weld data recording facility to digitally record each weld as it is produced. This data can then be downloaded and processed at the end of each shift, day or week as required.

This feature is also applicable to other industries where weld data is required for weld procedure qualification and operator approval, it provides a valuable tool to complement and enhance established QA procedures.
