Orbitec supply a range of cutting blocks for cutting into pipework where power tools cannot be used. The cutting blocks are made from hardened steel and provide a guide for tube cutting with a hacksaw, the resultant cut can be suitable for orbital welding after minimal deburring and cleaning. However, facing of the tube end with a suitable tube squarer is always recommended for ensuring a high quality orbital weld.
